Lifelong learning is an important aspect of living in our society today. Studies show how important learning activities are to our emotional, physical and mental health. At The Learning Source, our mission is to promote lifelong learning by offering unique, relevant, interactive courses that will build skills and improve the lives of those living in Peterborough and area communities.
In March [1], parents and kids 5 and up might want to participate in our Knit Together [2] series. And, if you have an old chair that needs repair, consider taking the Cane, Rush and Splint Seats [3] workshop. Also starting this month is an ESL Writing Skills [4] course and Meditation Basics [5]. Our spring session continues in April [1] with Beginner [6] and Intermediate [7]Spanish, Everyone Can Play Piano [8], Sewing Next Steps [9] and Basic Knife Skills [10].
Watch for The Learning Source catalogue around Peterborough and the county or contact us to have a copy mailed to you. If you haven't already done so, consider signing up for our e-newsletter for the latest updates and special discounts that are exclusive to subscribers.
We also invite you to check out the workshops and courses offered by our community learning partners. [11]
The Learning Source is responsible to the Peterborough community so we welcome your feedback and active involvement in our programming. We look forward to helping you learn something new this winter.
